Package content

The Wizard IP DXS allows efficient management of a single server or a complete cluster of servers. The direct connect to the servers guarantees best video performance even on higher resolutions and smooth mouse handling. Access is granted via Browser or VNC. For larger installations the included Wizard IP Management software can be used to efficiently manage multiple servers and sites at a central point.

Full direct Access
The Wizard IP DXS units are fully interface powered and allow full KVM access down to the BIOS level of a server with very short boot up times. In case the DXS boot up time of app. 5 seconds is too long, units can optionally be powered by an external power supply.

Vitual Media
Virtual Media transmission capability adds even more value. Patches can be rolled out without the need to access lights-out server room environments. The reduced single point of failure results in a high reliability server management system. DXS gives a direct access to as many users as DXS modules are used within the setup - simultaneously! Access bottle necks like with integrated KVM over IP switches with e.g. 4 simultaneous user sessions to 16 or 32 connected servers do not exist with DXS!

Centralized in a 19" rack
The Wizard IP DXS modules can easily be mounted into a 19"-chassis (ACU5000A). It holds up to 16 Single Access or 8 Dual Access units. Special mounting brackets allow even vertical mounting in cabinets of 800mm width.

Wizard IP Management Software for central management and authentication
The Wizard IP Management Software ties the whole Wizard IP product family together allowing central management functionality and security based access to clusters of servers. Administration and access is done via Web browser. Multiple site or multiple servers can now be managed more efficiently and ergonomically than before but with the known high performance of the Wizard IP product family.
