Black Box at the Integrated Systems Europe 2012

Hallbergmoos, January 13,  2012 – Black Box, the IT and communications specialist, once again presents its extensive portfolio of professional AV and digital signage applications at this year‘s Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam (31 January to 2 February 2012, hall 10, stand R136). Highlight and celebrating its European premiere there is the MediaFlyer Express. The new digital signage platform is a combination of hardware and hosted solution with easy step-by-step online configuration and management. It is thus ideal for companies and organizations that, even at distributed locations, want to improve their internal and external communication at low cost by means of up-to-date and dynamic digital signage systems.

The MediaFlyer Express can easily be integrated into existing networks or be used as a standalone system. Setup is incredibly simple: after a MediaFlyer Express account has been created, contents can be loaded and the configuration can be set. For that, eight predefined layouts are available, but they can easily be created by oneself as well. The browser-based platform doesn’t require the installation of any design or management software on the PC and contents can be controlled easily from anywhere over the Internet. The multiple award-winning iCOMPEL family works similarly: it is delivered as a ready-to-use solution with preinstalled software for the compilation and distribution of multimedia contents in HD quality for digital displays. It includes drag & drop tools to play saved or live media in multiple screen zones as well as menus to control the temporal and spatial distribution of contents. However, it boasts more comprehensive functions such as those concerning transparent zones and text overlays.

With its unrivalled flexibility, the ServSwitch DKM is not only suitable for DS infrastructures, it is also ideal for use in broadcasting environments where cutting stations and studios are often separated from the media servers. The switch not only allows hassle-free control channel extension of numerous video formats, it also allows any configuration of the matrix, irrespective of whether a single user is to switch 287 computers or several team members are to have access to a multitude of computers.

By using the existing IP network, the ServSwitch Agility allows virtually unlimited loss-free extensions of digital video signals. It can not only be used as an extender, but, like the DKM, also as a KVM switch and is thus ideal for AV distribution.
